The Marketing course gives you the skills and knowledge you need to get a job in almost any industry, quickly. You might like to start in a boutique media agency or perhaps in a large company doing communications, advertising, marketing strategy, promotions, sales or market research. The course includes the Diploma of Management, you will graduate with two qualifications.
You will be assessed continuously throughout the year. Your assingments are marked in the following way:
- Competent - high distinction
- Competent - credit distinction
- Competent
- Not yet competent
Your transcript will have these classifications which is different from a lot of other VET providers who just use the Competent or Not Yet Competent classifications. This grading system is more appealing to employers and universities as they know how well you did, not just that you have the qualification.
If you are looking to continue your studies further, this course can lead to a Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Commerce degree. You will gain 36 credit points towards a 72 point degree which is the equivalent to 1.5 years.
You'll be able to study 1 year and knock 1.5 years off your University degree!
