Conditions of Enrolment

Students should be aware of the following:

  • Providing false or misleading information may result in the non-acceptance or cancellation of enrolment;
  • Students will take responsibility to obtain a passport and an appropriate Visa for entry into Australia;
  • Students are responsible for the return airfare, accommodation and living expenses for themselves and any dependents;
  • Australian Business Academy (ABA) may suspend or cancel a student's enrolment where the student has not followed the rules, policies and conditions of the ABA as outlined in the Code of Conduct.
  • Excursions are optional and may incur an additional participation fee;
  • Excursions/sporting events arranged through the ABA or informal sporting activities during class breaks may involve physical activity and some element of risk and that ABA will strive to ensure the safety and well being of students participating in these events;
  • By completing the Application form and signing the Declaration, the student gives consent to, and accepts all risks resulting from participation in ABA's Excursions/sporting events that could result in injury, permanent injury, loss of life or belongings becoming lost, damaged or destroyed. In addition, students release the ABA and all persons associated directly or indirectly with the excursions/sporting events ('the indemnified') from all claims, demands and proceedings resulting from participation and indemnify the indemnified against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage connected with participation in the excursions/sporting events;
  • Know that all fees per Letter of Offer must be paid in advance before the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment is issued;
  • Students are required to be familiar with the ABA's Refund Policy before completing and signing the Application form for study at ABA;
  • Information may be shared with the ABA and any part thereof, Commonwealth and state/territory government agencies, the fund manager of the Education for Overseas Students Assurance Fund (ESOS), our Homestay providers, agents and family members. 

Students are expected to:

  • Be courteous and respectful at all times;
  • Have an attendance record above 90%;
  • Speak English at all times while at Australian Business Academy;
  • Purchase required classroom textbook/s soon after commencing classes at Australian Business Academy.
